Can decorative tape be added?
Yes — ladder tapes are a popular way to personalise your wooden Venetians. Our Sherwood and Expression ranges offer co-ordinating or contrasting tape options. On 35mm slats, the tape is 18mm wide, and on 50mm slats, it’s 25mm. Tapes not only enhance the look but also conceal the route holes for improved light control.
Are wood Venetians suitable for bathrooms?
Real wood may not perform well in humid spaces as it naturally expands and contracts. For bathrooms, we recommend choosing faux wood blinds from our Expressions range. These give you the look of natural timber with added moisture resistance.
What is faux wood?
Faux wood blinds are made from high-quality PVC or composite materials, offering the appearance of wood with improved durability. They’re perfect for busy households or environments where real wood might not be practical.
