What do I need to know about blackout fabrics?
We have a wide range of blackout fabrics, with a mix of plains in an array of colours from subtle pastels to strong, bold brights. There are also some grown-up designs, as well as some lovely prints especially for children. A blackout fabric is coated with a special backing to stop light penetrating through the fabric but there will always be light flare around the edges of a made-to-measure recessed blind, unless it’s layered with curtains.
