Community is at the heart of The Blinds Place’s thinking.

Despite marked growth over the last ten years, The Blinds Place remains rooted in the community. The company supports a number of charitable and not-for-profit organisations throughout the North of England. Whether it’s supporting brain tumour research, mental health initiatives or local charities, we believe we are greater when we work together to support each other.

Grace House

Grace House is a charity based in Southwick, Sunderland. As a small charity, Grace House relies heavily on fundraising from the community to allow it to continue to support children with disabilities and their families. We are proud to have actively fundraise for the charity in our shop over a number of years.

“Fundraising allows us to provide our essential services and also expand and reach more families across our region

Hartlepool Tennis

Exercise and mental health matter greatly and The Blinds Place is pleased to support Hartlepool Tennis, a Teesside not-for-profit founded in 1884. Our sponsorship helps the club with its inspiring outreach programme as it engages with ‘hard to reach’ groups, the youth, older people and those with special needs.

“The support of Michael and his team has been utterly invaluable.”

Boldon Cricket Club

The club offers cricket and social facilities for all ages and abilities and operates senior and junior teams. The Blinds Place has sponsored the Club and supported player development.

With their help, the club continues to thrive and be a central part of the local community.
